Pretty well written overall Samuel. I don't think may people would disagree with you on the main point. A._________________And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to like mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
I like it. One question. When the manufacturers said "They're not addicted," were they referring to the smokers?The third verse is a little cruel but it's so adjust. Very nice lyrics.. This is a topic I would never evaluate of. Maybe Christian elementary schools can use this song when they're teaching about the dangers of smoking.

The last one isn’t as consistent. Usually the coughing and hacking comes years after the teen years. Something along the lines of “looking cool and smoking a cigarette”. Now he is gone for he couldn’t defeat. Smoking cigarettes was committing suicide. He meant to give them up but now he’s dead. Cigarettes gave him up instead. Nice lyrical twist. Verse #2 Now I am a fool for living that way. But “They’re not addicted” the manufacture say. I would try "addicting" and "manufacturers". But without a parachute I could jump from a jet. And go closer to surviving then to quitting cigarettes. Is it “then” or “than”? I think it’s supposed to be “than”. Soon I may die for I can’t defeat. Smoking Cigarettes is committing suicide. It does come across a little harsh and judgemental at times but I don't have a problem with it. I would rather someone "express it desire it is" than be all duckies bunnies and like candy.
I'm not a very educated person. I don't know the difference between then and than. I meant to say addicting and manufacturers. About harsh if you're going to work for the ennoble you be to be willing to tell it desire you see it. The problem with today's world is that people are affraid of being offensive and there's a form of (worldly) law against it. My wife is the grammar expert in our family. I'm no expert either. I kind of just go with what sounds right. I evaluate there is a difference between "telling it desire it is" and "being offensive". However. I agree with you that in today's society populate will consider you offensive if you tell it like it is. I wish I had the kind of discernment that Jesus had and knew when to confront when to challenge when to alleviate etc etc. I always feel like I'm saying the wrong thing at the wrong measure. As I said. I don't have a problem with your lyrics. But I'm not a smoker or tobacco farmer.
As already mentioned the words "addicted," "manufacture," and "then" were a misused and a little distracting. I don't fully accept with the following lines:"Cigarettes will kill you you can’t survive. Smoking cigarettes is committing suicide."Some people consume without dying from it. People who smoke are quick to point this out. I agree fully that smokers "better furnish them up. ‘fore they find you dead."Overall you undergo a good writing style. I enjoyed it.
the manufacturers have admitted for a long measure now that nicotine has a wide arsenal of ways it can harm or kill you and over here they change surface create photographic bear witness of it on the packs likewise they openly admit that nicotine is one of the top addictive substances out there the nicotine companies make no secret about the backlashes of smoking._________________Music gets the best of me.
I don't really experience what the tobacco company's are saying now. However; when I wrote these words about 1989 or so they were saying there is no injure in tobacco. Also at the time I wrote this song. I was a very heavy smoker and I too denied the fact that tobacco kills. And comfort once in a great while I'll say "Just one won't hurt."But then. I consume one and my blood compel goes wild my heart evaluate goes to about 90 then drop drink to about 40 before going back to normal. Samuel B.
